Now known as Nigeria's premium airline, Arik Air was first launched in 2002 after founder, Sir Joseph Arumemi-Ikhide, noticed a gap in the market for a reliable and efficient carrier to transport business people across the country.
For the first six years, the airline operated exclusively in Nigeria, launching its first international route to Accra, Ghana in 2008 and its second to Johannesburg, South Africa in 2009. After this, a string of additional African routes was added, and more recently, flights to London and New York as well.
Arik Air is committed to efficiency and managing customer commitments across all fronts.
