Free baggage allowance will depend on which zone your flight falls in and which cabin class you’re in.
Zone 1 & 2 (Europe, North Africa, Balearic Islands and Canary Islands)
Economy Class Light: Hand luggage only.
Economy Class Classic: Passengers are allowed to check 20kg of luggage free of charge.
Premium Class: Passengers are allowed to check 25kg of luggage free of charge.
Zone 3 & 4 (East Africa, Southern Africa, UAE, Asia, Central & South America & Indian Ocean)
Economy Class: Passengers are allowed to check 20kg of luggage free of charge.
Premium Class: Passengers are allowed to check 25kg of luggage free of charge.
Business Class: Passengers are allowed to check 30kg of luggage free of charge.
Brazil (Also Zone 3, but with different rules)
All classes: Passengers are allowed to check 2 pieces of luggage weighing up to 32kg each free of charge.
Zone 5 (USA, Canada & Puerto Rico)
Economy Class: Passengers are allowed to check 1 piece of luggage weighing up to 23kg free of charge.
Premium Class: Passengers are allowed to check 1 piece of luggage weighing up to 32kg each free of charge.
Business Class: Passengers are allowed to check 2 pieces of luggage weighing up to 32kg each free of charge.
Travelling with pets
Cats and dogs may travel with their owners in the cabin, provided that they weigh less than 6kg (including box). A limited amount of pets are allowed per flight, so booking in advance is essential. Pets heavier than 6kg will be transported as checked baggage in the cargo hold.
