Why visit Krakow

Sights and Landmarks

Poland’s roots go back to the 10th century, leaving more than a thousand years of twists and turns and kings and castles to explore. World War II history buffs will not be disappointed. Tragically, Poland found itself in the middle of that epic fight, and monuments and museums dedicated to these battles—and to Poland’s remarkable survival—can be seen everywhere.

Museums

Cruises

The Wawel Castle, Main Square, St. Mary's Church and the Kazimierz District... Krakow, the city first on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, offers a wealth of history and architecture. Appreciated for its cultural heritage, the city has also become a European center of gastronomy. In 2019, Kraków was granted the title of European Capital of Gastronomic Culture by the European Academy of Gastronomy. Each year, the capital of Lesser Poland hosts nearly 100 festivals and other international events.
